Origami Books

Just in time for Valentimes (also known as Valentine’s Day)

Next Sunday is Valentine’s day, so here’s a Valentine’s day extravaganza for you all.  I’ve collected a bunch of my videos that show you how to make great gifts for your Valentine.  Make something nice for your hunny… and don’t forget to make something nice for your mom.  I also include two NEW videos.  I usually do one video a week, but I won’t be around next week to make one, so I figured I’d post two today.  Enjoy!

An overly complex origami heart <3

This video show’s how to make an origami heart.  Sure there, are easier hearts to make, like this one, but the method I show in the video uses square paper without any cuts… most hearts I’ve seen require cutting or rectangular paper (like the change of heart fold I made last year).

More bookmark theory

I continue last week’s lesson on how to make custom origami book marks.  Last week started with the water bomb base, and this week I’m using the square base.

Don’t lose your place… with style

I try to do something a little different in this video.  I show you how to make an origami book mark, but I talk a little bit about the basic principles so that you can play around and develop your own design.  You can use square or rectangular paper to make these bookmarks based on the waterbomb base.  I hope you have fun experimenting with your own designs.  I’d love to see what you all develop.
