Flower (orchid)
This origami video shows how to make what I call an orchid flower. I’ve never seen this pattern in print, and I actually discovered it when I made a mistake while trying to fold a traditional lily / iris flower from memory. It starts with the frog base, and is nearly identical to the lily / iris except for one key step when forming the petals.
Materials:
- One square sheet of paper
- pipe cleaner – optional
- stem tape – optional
this is one of the best origami wabs ive eva been to, do you no any other 1s like this?
I really like all of your oragami vids! I like how you show the main base, and your go in real time letting us do the steps instead of speeding through it!
Glad you’re finding them useful!
That's not even what an orchid looks like…
Sam, I would say that orchids don't look like orchids… there are hundreds of varieties out there that look completely different from each other… the reason I call this an orchid is because it doesn't look like a "traditional" flower… which is often the case for many orchids.
Thanks! I'm not sure what a wabs is, but I'm glad you like my wabs! If you're looking for more videos, look at the top and click on "origami videos" to see everything I've done so far. I update the site once a week.
