Dollar Heart (change of heart)
This origami video shows how to make a heart out of a dollar bill. This is my first money origami video. This is only one of many different types of hearts you can make from a dollar bill. I’ve heard this one called “change of heart” because it can hold a quarter in the center. If you want a diagram to go along with this video, check out this one by Steve Hecht.
Materials:
- One dollar bill (any US paper currency) or something with comparable measurements
- In this video I use a 30cm x 12.7cm sheet of scrapbook paper cut with my rotary paper cutter.
I love the heart. Thank you for showing me how to fold it. I just love it.
Smiles,
why don't you make pictures for each step, like a diagram so it will be easier to follow.
Thank you so much for this video. It was very easy to follow. I really like the way my first heart turned out.
This is too cool! Thanks! I love using the video….now I can actually see what "squashing" is. Thanks for sharing!!
Glad you found the video useful!
dude i never leave a comment unless its even worth watching. and this is definetly worth watching. all the videos i looked up on utube are crap. i just wanted to tell u that im so thankful that your even alive. seriously man. nice job!
Austin, thanks for the kind words… I'm happy to be alive
Glad you found this video helpful, Barbara!
While I'll sometimes link to a diagram or someone else's instruction on a certain fold, I focus on making videos for the site. You can "scrub" through the video by clicking and dragging on the video player progress bar and click the play button to pause the video. I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I don't have the time to go back through all these folds I've posted and take still photos at each step.
