Woven Origami

Here are some pics of different woven origami that I’ve made.  By “woven origami,” I mean that I cut paper into strips, and then weave it into a mat.  I cut the mat into a square sheet, and then from there I do regular origami folding.  I do use tape to bind the weaving together, but otherwise, it’s straight up folding.

  • yeah, I don't see the point in splitting hairs about what to call it. I was just experimenting… I've never been one for sticking to tradition just for tradition's sake. Glad you like it though.
