Lucky Flower Box
I recently made this box for a competition hosted by craftster.org I started with an origami box with a lid. I used 12 x 12 inch Basic Grey brand scrapbook paper to make the box. I then stitched a line of lucky stars onto the lid to give it some zing. I also stitched on an origami butterfly next to the flower printed on the paper. I then made 3 small flowers and attached them to old twist-ties (…yes, I’ve a collection of old twist-ties). I wrapped the twist-ties in floral stem-tape to make them look more like… well… stems. Let me know what you think. I’ll be posting this on the modified origami page of the forums soon, so you can comment there and maybe share some of your own work.
