Inspirations – Robert Lang
Dr. Robert Lang is both an origamist and engineer. He along with others have made great strides to modernize and advance the art and science of origami. I first came across his stuff online while searching fold origami insect folds… What was on his website, blew my mind. I was an instant fan, though I still can’t fold any of the really advanced stuff. Since discovering him, I’ve gotten a couple of his books with “simpler” folds, and was lucky enough to see him speak at a near by college for free. Check him out in the clips below:
Mr. Lang is also one of my favourite origami artists!! His creations are really amazing, and it's incredible how mathematics can help us to create very reallistic folds!! Thanks to Mr. Lang we can create insects and other origami figures that can take out the breath to people who admire them…
