Gift Box (Robin Glynn)

This instructional video shows you how to make an origami box designed by Robin Glynn. This paper box has 4 tabs that can be interlocked to close the box – this makes it ideal for use as reusable gift wrapping.

[singlepic id=453 w=320 h=240 float=center]
– 1 square sheet of paper

– dimensions will be roughly N/3 x N/3 x N/6, where N is the original edge length of your square paper
– 0.35N x 0.35N x 0.17 is a little more precise

I was trying this off a Chinese web site, the folds are the same-but just could not get it together. Now thru the magic of Robin and comp., my mission is accomplished. You did a great job with demo and narritive. THNX

  2. you… are awesome!!! I had searched through the entire Internet, roughly said, but never found anything as simple and compact, plus even practical like this! thank you, you saved my day ^.^

  3. BUT, there is one place that I am not so sure about – when you say “the first part is the hardest, but as you go on the other ones, they are easier” or something like that, I dunno xD I had the other edges more difficult than the first one :/ oh well, I made a bunch of these little cute boxes, and they are, what can I say, revolutionar in the Christmas season and any other gift making processes
