This origami video shows you how to make origami lucky stars. These are little puffy 3D stars. The tradition is that you fill a jar with these things and give them to someone you like. I also like to make a bunch and then string them together or stitch them onto things for decoration. You can of course easily make jewelery with these stars as well – earrings, bracelets, necklaces etc. You’ll need thin strips of paper – I like to cut my own from magazine pages or scrapbook paper with a paper cutter, but you can also purchase paper for this.
