This origami video shows you how to make a heart using a dollar bill. This heart in particular is sometimes called “change of heart,” because it can hold a quarter in the middle.
- 1 dollar or paper with similar dimensions ( 6.125” x 2.75” or 15.5cm x 7cm )
- something with a narrow point like a pencil or chopstick (optional)

Hey, that rhymes!
Would it work if you used 1/8 of printer paper?
It should work… you'll just have a larger gap in the middle that you have to hide away. Let me know how it turns out.
would it still be able to hold a quarter?
hmmm… that, I don't know… you'll have to try it and see.
I just made one of these right along with you and it turned out great the first time! You are a great origami teacher!
Thanks, Dusti! Your feedback is always appreciated.
